yay. new podcast. i supposse i should put on out. its been about 4 months since the last one. and i need to sort out a proper theme tune and some decent stuff. so when i make another one, it’ll be like a brand new revolution in podcasting. No more rubbish microphones and weird themes.

No ‘Fill in the Blank’ this time.
(a) We ran out of ideas.
(b) We need to set up a database of our shows’ content so we know what has been done and what hasn’t.
Debate was supposed to be dropped too.
Along with Random Word and PSAs.
We have new items in the pipeline, which we are hoping to start featuring very soon indeed.
Along with moving to a spiffy WordPress install blog.
If anyone has input on what we should keep?
Could do with a poll/survey perhaps?

fetdbwj - the ability to stuff greek cheese up one’s left nostril while whistling your country’s national anthem. First recognised as an ability at the ‘I am a nutter, yes, really I am’ championship’s in 1948. While never really recognised as a sport, the longest fetdb occurred by accident during a prolonged ceremonial roggering of a giant grey rabbit called fluffy.
Now I have to switch to WordPress.
Blogger no longer allows us to log in to the old Blogger, so I cannot change the site, which means no show posting unless I switch.
I have seen the problems people are having with the new Blogger. I would rather have problems with WordPress if I have to work through problems.
So instead of working on a new show, I will be working on switching. The show will have to wait until I get the site set up.
Please be patient during this time.
I may just set up a place marker site, and work on it later, which would be up and running quicker.
At least I know what to do now, because we already did it with The Medical Minute Podcast (#22 in the Health podcast charts!).
We’ll post the next show as soon as we can.

kcledaqb - from the gibberish meaning something to do with. Used in polite conversation between fictional characters. Usage : “Hey fictional character person, did you kcledaqb that?”. The common response being, “gdyxi!!!”.
Been spending a lot of time looking into WordPress. Probably opting for a skinned Sandbox theme. Sandbox-K2 seems to be a decent option. Sandbox is a themer’s theme, apparently. Feature rich etc. K2 is supposed to be the business. So the port over to the Sandbox theme as a skin seems to be a good choice. I only half know what I am babbling on about. Then there is something called gravatar, which gives one an avatar which follows you from blog to blog (if the blog supports it). Like the avatars in Blogger, only more universal? I haven’t looked into it too much. Bookmarked a lot of sites. Going to switch shortly so we can post a new show. Recording over the weekend. Posting in the week, after the switch. Should be able to import all the blogspot comments and posts, apparently. Hold on tight…please remain seated, and secure all loose articles. Thank you!

Okay, folks.
I cannot migrate this blog as is into WordPress. Since I need to log in to do so. The only way I can log in is to switch to the new Blogger. Doing so will change the blog, and may mess with the feed too.
I have no choices here.
Probably Thursday 22nd I am going to jump in and switch us over.
Then try and import the converted blog into WordPress. Then switch the site over to the WordPress blog. The blogspot.com site will remain here after we stop using it for the show. I will post something about the new site here when that occurs and leave it to redirect people.

I couldn’t see images on my computer for the new WP blog. I finally checked the ‘load images automatically’ option in FireFox, found ‘load images from’ TPC to be blocked…Why? I have no idea. The most obvious thing seems to be the thing we most overlook.
